Duties are performed under the general supervision of the assigned supervisor who reviews performance through conferences and analyses of completed assignments.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>General Functions</p> <p>Duties are performed under the general supervision of the assigned supervisor who reviews performance through conferences and analyses of completed assignments.</p> <p>Representative Duties/Assignments</p> <ul> <li>Develops and maintains procedures and database for contract administration, monitoring, and tracking of certified firms. </li><li>Reviews and evaluates certification applications and supporting documentation by conducting a desk audit review, requesting additional documentation to ensure the file meets the M/WBE criteria and closing files not meeting criteria using an on-line application. </li><li>Tracks re-certification file, coordinating with the CPA to ensure all financial information is reviewed to verify the business net worth criteria. </li><li>Conducts site visits and prepares corresponding reports for re-certification applications. </li><li>Provide guidance to entrepreneurs by interpreting policies and code and disseminating information regarding division services. Conducts research as it relates to re-certification process. </li><li>Conducts recertification virtual meetings to assist firms with adding additional scope of services or expansion. </li><li>Emailing directories, policies & procedures, ordinances if requested by businesses. </li><li>Compiles data for M/WBE Advisory Board Committee. </li><li>Attends community events and/or expos. </li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Business Administration, Public Administration or a closely related field and two years of experience preparing and/or monitoring contracts.
