<p>Who You'll Work With</p> <p>As a Migration Specialist, you'll help clients modernize their IT and application landscape by leading large-scale migration conversations that unlock Google Cloud's value. You'll work with cloud architects, infrastructure specialists, data and AI leads, and client stakeholders to help organizations navigate and execute complex cloud migration strategies.</p> <p>You'll be part of Slalom's Cloud Center of Excellence and Google Cloud go-to-market team, helping shape opportunities aligned to Zero Legacy goals while ensuring our solutions deliver both business and technical outcomes.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Serve as a hands-on migration SME for enterprise-scale cloud programs, shaping and supporting migration approaches across apps, infrastructure, and data. </li><li>Engage with IT and business stakeholders to assess readiness and guide them through the full migration journey: assess, plan, migrate, and optimize. </li><li>Translate data center, storage, compute, OS, and networking environments into cloud architectures and actionable roadmaps. </li><li>Guide early-stage opportunity shaping with sales teams-helping position cloud migration as a catalyst for broader transformation. </li><li>Develop discovery materials, technical assets, and migration execution strategies aligned with cloud-native tooling. </li><li>Bring technical credibility and business clarity to executive conversations around migration return on investment, timelines, and operational impact. </li><li>Collaborate with Slalom delivery teams to ensure a seamless transition from sales to delivery. </li><li>Support pursuit efforts with partner-aligned funding and engagement strategies. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Bring</p> <ul> <li>Deep understanding of data center-to-cloud constructs, including compute, storage (NAS, BLOB, SMB), OS (Windows/Linux), and network patterns. </li><li>Experience with cloud-native migration tooling (e.g., Migrate for Compute Engine, Migration Center, Cloudamize) and ecosystem discovery platforms. </li><li>Familiarity with multi-cloud environments (GCP with either Azure or AWS). </li><li>Comfort engaging security and networking teams to align cloud policies, segmentation, and access models. </li><li>Ability to communicate CapEx to OpEx shifts and articulate partner funding opportunities to support deal shaping. </li><li>Cloud professional certification (e.g., Google Cloud Professional Architect). </li><li>Excellent communication and presence in client conversations-able to translate migration strategy into business-relevant value. </li><li>Strong collaborator with Modernization, AI, and Business Transformation peers. </li><li>Comfortable shaping opportunities at the sales stage and influencing solution architecture and deal strategy. </li></ul> <p>About Us</p> <p>Slalom is a fiercely human business and technology consulting company that leads with outcomes to bring more value, in all ways, always.
