<p>Job Requirements</p> <p>POSITION SUMMARY:</p> <ul> <li>This position requires the individual to reside within Brevard County Florida with onsite responsibilities* </li></ul> <p>To be fully engaged in providing Quality/No Harm, Customer Service and Stewardship by performing detail analysis of potential new lines of businesses, development of business plans, and performing financial analysis in support of Health First, Inc. and its affiliates. Additionally, this position provides support of the capital budget and operating forecast processes, monitoring and reporting against goals or expectations, and participating in the development of the Associate Financial Analysts</p> <p>PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:</p> <p>Quality/No Harm:</p> <ul> <li>Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of department deliverables </li><li>Assist the Sr Financial Analysts by providing necessary strategic and financial support of IDN wide projects </li><li>Ensure that all department deliverables reflect professional presentation </li><li>Understanding of Clinical and Financial concepts necessary to support complex lines of business </li><li></li><li>Stewardship: </li><li>Proactively participate in generating specific annual department goals and objectives Prepare profitability analysis of IDN wide projects and initiatives. </li><li>Collaborate with Sr Financial Analyst on IDN financial recommendations based on analysis. </li><li>Support the assigned business lines with the development of capital budgets, operating forecasts, and measurement of key performance indicators against goals or targets. </li><li>Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with Strategy and Finance teams to develop solutions, programs and policies to support the organization and individual business units. </li><li>Use department resources efficiently and effectively. </li><li>Partner with team members to achieve department goals. </li></ul> <p>Customer Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Provide finance related training and assistance to other analysts and customers. </li><li>Build and maintain effective relationships with all customers and team members. </li><li>Look for and act on opportunities to serve customers and team members. </li><li>Demonstrate resilience and a positive perspective in the midst of stress and continuous change. </li></ul> <p>Work Experience</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:</p> <ul> <li>BS degree in accounting, finance, or related field, from an accredited college or university required. </li><li>Prior experience and knowledge in the use of software packages such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and Windows. </li><li>Minimum two years healthcare or related experience in financial analysis required. </li><li>Fundamental knowledge of clinical/financial information system use. </li><li>Ability to work with limited supervision. </li><li>Enthusiasm and high level of job interest. </li><li>Possess excellent analytical and problem solving skills. </li><li>Possess computer abilities as well as oral and written communication skills. </li><li>Demonstrates the ability to relate well with all customers and peers </li><li>Knows and applies fundamental clinical and financial concepts necessary to analyze operational performance of the departments </li><li>Ability to prioritize and organize to maximize quality, value and service. </li><li>Remain current on all financial regulations and standards. </li><li></li><li>PHYSICAL DEMANDS: </li><li>Able to sit and view computer screen for up to three hours at a time. </li><li>Ability to occasionally stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. </li><li>Able to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. </li><li>Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. </li><li>Hand/wrist dexterity. </li></ul> <p>MENTAL DEMANDS:</p> <ul> <li>Able to work in often stressful environments. </li><li>Able to prioritize and meet deadlines. </li><li>Able to provide weekly updates on projects. </li><li>Able to work in moderate noise level. </li><li>Able to lead in a team environment. </li></ul> <p>Benefits</p> <p>ABOUT HEALTH FIRST</p> <p>At Health First, diversity and inclusion are essential for our continued growth and evolution.
