<p>Primary Purpose</p> <p>Drive and operate semi-vans, roll-off trailers, and dump trailers as required.</p> <p>Essential Functions and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times. </li><li>Loads supplies needed for job completion and travels to various industry, laboratory, and school sites to perform lab pack services. </li><li>Prepares for daily trip by inspecting vehicle and equipment, fueling truck, and ensuring all equipment is in excellent order. </li><li>Drives to customer sites to collect waste material and/or transport hazardous and non-hazardous material. </li><li>Completes necessary paperwork for shipment of hazardous and non-hazardous materials. </li><li>Follows proper placarding and load segregation requirements when transporting hazardous materials. </li><li>Maintains a logbook for D.O.T. compliance. </li><li>Assists customers on troubleshooting and correcting record keeping inconsistencies and service concerns. </li><li>Acts as Company Representative with contacts. </li></ul> <p>Heritage believes that each employee makes a significant contribution to our success. It is our expectation that each employee will offer his/her services wherever and whenever necessary to ensure the success of our endeavors.</p> <p>Education: High School Diploma or it's equivalent</p> <p>Experience: 1 Year of CDL Driving Experience required.</p> <p>Requirements: Minimum Class B CDL License w/ Hazmat Endorsement required. Class A CDL w/ Hazmat Endorsement Preferred.</p> <p>Knowledge and Abilities: Ability to understand RCRA, DOT and OSHA regulations. Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with internal and external contacts.
