<p>The facility provides care to approximately 91,000 veterans in the midlands and upstate SC. CBOCs are located in Anderson, Greenville, Spartanburg, Florence, Orangeburg, Sumter, and Rock Hill, and provide primary care, mental health, and telemedicine services. Dorn VAMC is affiliated with the University of South Carolina (USC) School of Medicine and provides teaching services for students and residents. Follow up labs and/or imaging ordered as part of eval/treatment plan (OCT, Angiogram, CT scan, MRI, Visual fields, etc). </li><li>Supervising residents in clinics, check assessments and treatment plans. </li><li>Supervising and teaching procedures to residents like retina, glaucoma, post cataract lasers, injections and other minor surgery procedures. IOL calculations. </li><li>Teaching and couching Operating Room procedures like cataract surgery, glaucoma surgery and retina surgery. </li><li>Reach out to patients that message/phone call service to answer questions, giving instructions, etc. </li><li>Operative Procedures </li></ul> <p>Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm, Night and Weekend Rotational Call, Operative time and clinical time. Schedule subject to change based on facility needs.</p>
