Maintain planting beds through weeding, cultivating, mulching, and debris removal. Assist with planting and removing trees, shrubs, perennials, and seasonal flowers. Perform pruning and trimming of shrubs and small trees to maintain plant health and appearance. The role is essential in keeping campus landscapes well-maintained and visually appealing for faculty, staff, students, and visitors, as well as maintaining a high standard of appearance in support of public-facing campus activities and events. Other duties as assigned.</p> <p>These are hourly, non-exempt/non-benefitted positions:</p> <p>Level I- $8.79-$20.17 per hour</p> <p>Level II- $9.45-$21.69 per hour</p> <p>Level III- $10.92-$25.06 per hour</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT: 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example: bachelor's degree = 4 years of directly related work experience).</p> <p>Department may hire employee at one of the following job levels:</p> <p>General Laborer, I: Requires little to no related experience.</p> <p>General Laborer, II: Requires at least 1 year of related experience.</p> <p>General Laborer, III: Requires 3+ years of related experience.</p> <p>Preferences Special Instructions Summary Additional Information</p> <p>The University is a participating employer with Utah Retirement Systems ("URS").
