Please see the Employee Associations Page for the current master agreement and important documents associated with your bargaining unit. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Communicates related processes and status to external and internal customers. </li><li>Responds to customer inquiries. </li><li>Maintains AR and Tuition email inboxes. </li><li>Enters, maintains, and updates customer information as needed. </li><li>Creates and/or uploads receipts. </li><li>Sets-up, manages, and processes automatic payments. </li><li>Creates and/or uploads invoices, adjustments, credit memos, and debit memos into ERP and the Online Bill Pay systems. </li><li>Manages and validates ECE tuition levels, discounts, and changes. </li><li>Manages, validates, and analyzes customer account balances and receipt data. </li><li>Problem solves billing and/or receiving issues and resolves discrepancies in a timely manner. </li><li>Resolves escalated or identified complex issues through root cause analysis. </li><li>Maintains both the integrity and confidentiality of all data, research, and analysis as directed. </li><li>Documents process and procedures, implements process improvements and retains documentation as required. </li><li>Maintains AR and Tuition Billing Google Drives. </li><li>Performs general guidance and support to relative team members. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Need:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent is required. </li><li>Associate's Degree in Accounting or a related field or equivalent experience. </li><li>Three (3) or more years of related experience. </li><li>Intermediate skills with Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel. </li><li>Effective time management and organizational skills. </li><li>Effective verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with both internal and external customers. </li><li>Strong attention to detail. </li><li>Effectively handle multiple demands and competing deadlines. </li><li>The ability to take responsibility for one's own performance. </li><li>Work collaboratively with others on a team. </li><li>Aptitude for variety and changing expectations and a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Oracle accounting software experience is preferred. </li><li>Bilingual candidate preferred. </li><li>Lead for racial and educational excellence and work to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in our community, along with believing in and supporting all students so they feel seen and heard with access to high quality education. </li><li>Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us. </li><li>Have the ability with or without accommodations to meet the physical demands of the position. </li></ul> <p>Denver Public Schools is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, gender expression, and sexual orientation), parental status, national origin, age, disability, genetic information (including family medical history), political affiliation, military service, or any other status protected by law or regulations.
