Our team is expanding, and we are currently hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer to work out of our corporate office in Beverly, MA.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment, or other hardware systems and/or electrical engineering applications. </li><li>Execute engineering projects and development of electromechanical systems including power distribution, vacuum systems, high voltage, control systems, robotics, safety interlocks and electro-static chuck technologies. </li><li>Ensures adherence to the development process including requirements planning, schedule estimates, concept reviews, design reviews, verification, and validation test plans. </li><li>Provide electrical engineering interface to the design services group and to offshore teams to deliver quality designs and on-time performance. </li><li>Analyzes equipment to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests and evaluates results. </li><li>Ensures designs meet design objectives as well as safety, industry (SEMI), and customer specific requirements. </li><li>Selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability. </li><li>May also review vendor capability to support product development. </li></ul> <p>Basic Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related required. </li><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience of electrical/electronic hardware design as an individual contributor. </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Experience conducting technical design reviews with a larger group </li><li>Experience working with engineering change notices in formal change process </li><li>One or more of the following Experience: Systems engineering, High-voltage, RF power, PCB design, Power Distribution </li><li>Design skills with Altium, PADS, PSpice </li><li>Experience with Creo Schematic, Creo Cabling, AutoCad is a plus. </li><li>Windchill experience a plus </li><li>Semiconductor capital equipment experience a plus </li></ul> <p>EQUAL OPPORTUNITY STATEMENT</p> <p>It is the policy of Axcelis to provide equal opportunity in all areas of employment for all persons free from discrimination based on race, sex, religion, age, color, national origin, disability status, medical condition (including pregnancy), veteran status, sexual orientation, marital status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law. The range provides the opportunity for growth and progression as</p> <p>you develop within the role.</p> <p>Base pay is one part of our U.S. total compensation package which includes eligibility in the</p> <p>Axcelis Team Incentive bonus plan, and comprehensive benefits package (for regular</p> <p>employees working 20+ hours a week).</p>
