<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Position Overview: Orascoptic seeks a motivated Planner/Buyer to ensure a consistent and reliable inventory of materials to support all manufacturing activities. Reporting to the Materials Leader, the Buyer/Planner will be focused on managing inventory levels and working to improve relationships with our suppliers. The role will be pivotal in supporting our current manufacturing schedule and helping drive continual growth.</p> <p>Location: Madison WI</p> <p>Essential Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Understand and execute Oracle effectively to create, issue, and schedule purchase orders for raw material-based Kanban signals to ensure inventory levels, inventory dollars and turns ensure company OTD goals are maintained </li><li>Proactively participate in Kanban system whether in Dynamic Kanban events to 'right-size' inventory or through weekly Kanban audits </li><li>Effectively manage new suppliers, new revisions or new products to minimize stock-outs and obsolescent inventory </li><li>Process NCR (Non-Conforming Material Requests) for manufactured parts and give timely updates to suppliers with material issues through the Corrective Action process </li><li>Assure compliance with FDA Quality Systems Requirements (QSR), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ISO regulatory requirements </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements:</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree (BBA) in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Procurement or related field preferred </li><li>1-3 years of relevant experience within purchasing and planning; manufacturing experience is a plus </li><li>Up to 5% Domestic Travel for vendor visits, etc. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with Kanban </li><li>Experience in (ERP) Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (Oracle preferred) </li><li>Proficient in MS Office Products - Excel, PowerPoint, Word </li><li>Excellent communication skills </li><li>Excellent time management skills </li></ul> <p>#LI-RJ1</p> <p>IND123</p> <p>Target Market Salary Range:</p> <p>Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed reasonable estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Envista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
