Committed to values of human dignity, compassion, justice, excellence, and stewardship St. Luke's Hospital for over a decade has been recognized for "Outstanding Patient Experience" by HealthGrades.</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>This position plays a key role in supporting the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and other imaging applications critical to patient diagnosis and treatment across our hospital. The Applications Analyst works directly with radiologists, technologists, clinicians, and IT staff to ensure the seamless operation of imaging systems, focusing on reliability, workflow optimization, and high-quality patient care. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs all duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke's mission and values.</p> <p>Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:</p> <p>Education: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare and/or Information Sciences highly desirable but not required.</p> <p>Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on PACS support experience in a hospital or clinical environment. Strong understanding of DICOM standards, imaging modalities, HL7 messaging, and workflow processes in radiology. Demonstrated experience troubleshooting imaging systems and working with vendors and clinical end-users. Familiarity with at least one major PACS platform. Experience with Radiology Information Systems (RIS), Vendor Neutral Archives (VNA), and EMR/EHR integrations with Cerner.
