<p>GENERAL SUMMARY:</p> <p>Under minimal supervision provides care, maintenance, assembly and operation of electronic physiological pressure monitoring equipment in the operating room, intra-aortic balloon pumping systems, autologous blood salvaging systems and other related systems. Provides laboratory test in the operating room for open-heart patients. Provides maintenance and cleaning of equipment for perfusion services. Performs other related duties as required.</p> <p>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:</p> <ul> <li>Associates Degree preferred. </li><li>Completion of Intra Aorta Balloon Pump (IABP) certification program and/or minimum of one year previous IAPB experience, preferred. </li><li>Analytical ability required in order to set-up, calibrate, operate, and maintain various equipment. </li><li>Manual dexterity required to work with finely detailed circuitry components and systems. </li><li>Visual/hearing/verbal abilities required in order to operate equipment and assist during surgical procedures. </li></ul> <p>This posting represents the major duties, responsibilities, and authorities of this job, and is not intended to be a complete list of all tasks and duties.
