<p>Martin Marietta is hiring a Dredge Operator to be responsible for the safe operation of a dredge at our E-Town Sand & Gravel operation.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for operating a variety of equipment utilized in dredge mining </li><li>Perform daily inspection of vehicle and work area </li><li>Perform repairs and routine maintenance on plant and mobile equipment </li><li>Observe visual and auditory signals during vehicle operation </li><li>Read and understand dredge pressure, vacuum and flow gauges </li><li>Experience with water craft, john boats, cables and pipeline & diesel engines. </li><li>All other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Competencies</p> <ul> <li>Attention to Detail </li><li>Safety Acumen </li><li>Ethical Conduct </li><li>Teamwork </li><li>High Sense of Urgency </li><li>Drive for Results </li><li>Relationship Building </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This job operates 100% of the time in a surface mine setting.
