This individual will possess a willingness to learn and an ability to adapt to the rapidly changing quality measurement landscape. The ideal candidate has both strong quality measurement knowledge, project management and analytical skills, as well as strong communication skills.</p> <p>Reporting to the OCMO Quality Program Manager, the Quality Measure Specialist will be part of a cross-functional team that is responsible for external quality reporting across the MGB system. This individual is responsible for quality measure abstraction, validation and submission of regulatory and high-stakes quality measures to external agencies, programs and registries, and collaboration with OCMO and site performance improvement teams.</p> <p>Principle Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Provides analytic and project management support for the measurement, validation and submission of high stakes, externally reported and/or regulatory quality performance data </li><li>Completes chart abstraction for external quality measurement portfolio, to include data entry, data quality checks, inter-rater reliability checks, and submission of performance data to regulatory agencies and/or clinical specialty registries </li><li>Manages to deadlines and completes data submissions with a high degree of accuracy </li><li>Supports validation efforts, collaborating with Medical Records/HIM and OCMO Compliance teams as needed </li><li>Collaborates with site and system stakeholders on quality improvement as needed </li><li>Summarizes detailed findings from chart review and communicates performance on quality performance programs to OCMO and site stakeholders </li><li>Presents findings on quality performance in a variety of formats (reports, PowerPoint, graphs, tables) formulates recommendations, and effectively communicates results to non-analytic audiences </li><li>Supports ad-hoc data requests and participates in system efforts for high profile reporting processes such as the triennial Joint Commission survey or annual Leapfrog survey </li><li>Use/s the Mass General Brigham values to govern decisions, actions and behaviors.
