The ideal candidate</p> <p>will have experience working with students in a preschool setting and possess strong skills in</p> <p>classroom management, lesson planning, and communication; We are a smaller facility with a low key</p> <p>sense of style with lots of interaction time with our students. We are looking for someone with a</p> <p>passion and sense of play. This is a great role for folks just starting out in the field, may be in</p> <p>school and need flex hours or a retiree with time on their hands but needs flexibility</p> <p>to stay active in other life areas.</p> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and Florida standards. </li><li>Provide a safe and nurturing environment for preschool-aged children </li><li>Utilize effective classroom management techniques to create a positive learning atmosphere </li><li>Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress anddevelopment </li><li>Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience forstudents </li><li>Implement early intervention strategies for children with special educationneeds </li></ul> <p>Skills</p> <ul> <li>Experience working with preschool-aged students </li><li>Proficiency in tutoring and providing individualized support </li><li>Strong classroom management skills </li><li>Ability to develop and execute age-appropriate lesson plans </li><li>Excellent communication skills with both children and adults </li><li>Knowledge of special education practices </li><li>Previous childcare experience is preferred </li><li>Background in early childhood education or related field </li><li>Familiarity with curriculum development for young learners </li><li>Teaching Strategies Gold experience a plus, </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Completed 45 DCF hours certification </li><li>Prefer a CDA or FCCPC - will consider candidates that are currently working on those certifications :) </li></ul> <p>Salary Description</p> <p>15.00 per hour</p>
