<p>The Woman's Internship in Scientific Research (WISER) offers a paid summer research internship experience with Woman's Hospital, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. WISER engages students considering a career in science or medicine in the field of women's health, particularly suited for those interested in pursuing a career in science or an MD, DO, or PhD. The program includes a core curriculum addressing the fundamentals of biomedical research as well as the opportunity to pursue, present, and publish an independent research project.
