<p>Overview & Responsibilities</p> <p>Overview:</p> <p>The Quality Engineer ensures the quality of all products-both manufactured and purchased-by reviewing customer specifications, developing and maintaining quality documentation, performing audits, and investigating nonconformances. This role supports both internal and external customers and contributes to overall quality assurance throughout the product lifecycle.</p> <p>The ideal candidate will have experience with rotating equipment (e.g., compressors, turbines, pumps), cryogenic systems, and familiarity with classification society and maritime regulations.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Deliver moderately complex quality solutions for assigned tasks and projects</p> </li><li> <p>Develop and apply quality engineering skills, including ITP creation, auditing and continuous improvement</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in internal project transfer, customer kick-off, coordination, and pre-inspection meetings</p> </li><li> <p>Provide Quality Assurance support to internal customers, including Project Management, Engineering, Drafting, Manufacturing, and Purchasing</p> </li><li> <p>Provide project Quality Assurance support to external customers</p> </li><li> <p>Own the completion of assigned task through effective collaboration with cross-functional teams</p> </li><li> <p>Facilitate customer witness of testing and inspections activities</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct quality audits and continuous improvement projects</p> </li><li> <p>Lead and participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and 8D problem-solving processes to identify, correct, and prevent recurrence of quality issues</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate clearly and respectfully to ensure effective and straightforward information exchange across the organization</p> </li><li> <p>Develop knowledge of all Elliott products and processes, including Quality Assurance related inputs and outputs</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Process, or similar discipline).</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum of 2 years of related work experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, inspection methods and procedures, inspection equipment, nondestructive testing techniques and quality engineering including analytical skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Working knowledge of quality engineering principles.</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of operational processes in defined area of work and familiarity with industry practice and standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Preferred: Pursuing or gaining experience toward a Quality Certification such as American Society for Quality (ASQ) CQE, CQA, CQT, CQM, CRE or Six Sigma Black Belt.</p> </li></ul> <p>Equal Employment Opportunity</p> <p>Ebara Elliott Energy is an equal employment opportunity/affirmative action employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, marital status, genetic information, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by the federal, state or local laws of the United States.
