<p>This position will support the Avient Specialty Engineered Materials business unit. The Intern is responsible for supporting the technical, lab testing, production, clerical and project work</p> <p>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Supports the department with all necessary technical, lab testing or clerical work. </li><li>Supports the department with all necessary project work. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Scope</p> <p>This position will support the Avon Lake Specialty Engineered Materials manufacturing facility.</p> <p>Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma </li><li>Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in progress </li><li>1 year of professional experience </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate </li><li>Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service </li><li>Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices </li></ul> <p>Additional Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint </li><li>Attention to Detail </li><li>Organizational Skills </li><li>Ability to work independently/Ability to work on a team </li><li>Time/Priority Management </li><li>Analytical Skills </li><li>Reading/ Comprehension </li><li>Ability to Multitask </li></ul>
