Other duties may be assigned.</p> <ul> <li>Coordinates material movement between departments per the routing requirements. </li><li>Sorts questionable materials per Quality Control's request. </li><li>Prints and distributes pick tickets and performs computer transactions as necessary. </li><li>Organize sequence of pulling material and relays information to Material Support. </li><li>Ensures production schedules are met: by timely and accurate processing and movement of goods. Assists during daily peak times to include operating material handling equipment and perform all necessary computer transactions. </li><li>Ensures good communication and feedback with management, employees on their shift and between shifts. </li><li>When assigned, assists the supervisor/area manager with Continuous Improvement Projects, evaluation of new equipment, determination of training needs and interviewing/hiring. </li><li>Monitors and enforces shop floor control systems. </li><li>Studies systems and procedures for opportunities for improvement. Proposes changes to Materials Manager. Assures successful implementation of approved improvements. </li><li>Works with Raymond repair personnel to ensure equipment maintenance is current. Also maintains battery charging stations. </li><li>Works with Area Managers and other production department supervisors to facilitate most efficient carrying out of receiving duties. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Certificates, Licenses, Registrations</p> <p>2-5 years of forklift experience in a manufacturing production environment.</p> <p>Must possess or be willing to obtain MEC Material Handling Certification.</p>
