<p>We are seeking a skilled CNC Swiss Lathe Machinist to join our team. You will be responsible for setting up and operating machines to produce precision parts and components. This is a full-time position on 2nd shift with competitive pay, benefits and shift differential.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Set up and operate CNC Swiss machines </li><li>Read and interpret blueprints and related technical data to determine tooling requirements, setup procedures and machining methods and sequences. </li><li>First Article Inspection and inspection of parts during production to maintain quality throughout the production run </li><li>Must have the ability to maintain close tolerances (within .001) tolerance </li><li>Knowledge to review and interpret "G" and "M" Code </li><li>Prepares and pre-sets all tools needed for machining operations </li><li>Must have an understanding of machine tool accuracies, fixture offsets, and tool offsets </li><li>Knowledge of cutting tool feeds, speeds and tool life </li><li>Work closely with ME/CNC Programmers on new job prove-out, troubleshooting and improving processes </li><li>Work with ME department to optimize processes and identify insourcing and reprocessing opportunities </li><li>Self-starter and self-motivated person, ability to work with minimal supervision </li><li>Ability to work overtime regularly </li><li>Ability to work well in team environment </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>3 years of experience setting up and operating Swiss Lathe or equivalent machine </li><li>Experience with Mitsubishi controls and Citizen Machines </li><li>Ability to use Comparator, micrometers, air gages, calipers, profilometer, etc. </li><li>Strong knowledge of GD&T </li><li>Ability to setup machines including editing speeds, feeds, tool and fixture offsets </li><li>Experience in programming CNC machines is a plus </li></ul> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalency </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Competitive pay based on experience </li><li>Health insurance coverage options </li><li>Retirement plan options </li><li>Paid time off </li><li>Holiday pay </li></ul> <p>This position requires either a US Person (as defined in applicable export regulations) or a non-US person who is eligible to obtain required export authorization.</p> <p>An equal employment opportunity employer.
