<p>As a Quality Control Manager, you are.</p> <p>Responsible for implementing and adhering to the Quality Control Plans within the contracts services business.</p> <p>This position is responsible for conducting regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and other</p> <p>designated areas as well as training and developing team members to ensure high-quality service levels, safety, asset protection, and loss prevention.</p> <p>Quality Control Manager</p> <p>Powerworks-Albany Marine Logistics Base, Albany, Ga.</p> <p>Quality Control Manager Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Monitor, inspect, and audit performance concerning operational procedures and </li></ul> <p>contractual obligations.</p> <ul> <li>Sends reports directly to the Project Manager and Assistant Project Managers, and when </li></ul> <p>requested, to the Contracting Office.</p> <ul> <li>Using Otuvy (formerly CleanTelligent) performs inspections on all buildings, grounds, </li></ul> <p>and/or other areas in accordance with the Quality Control Plan.</p> <ul> <li>Collaborates with People Services to coordinate monthly safety training, drills, and </li></ul> <p>education segments for all PWI staff members.</p> <ul> <li>Ensures team members receive monthly training on equipment usage, equipment </li></ul> <p>maintenance, and floor care techniques.</p> <ul> <li>Ensures quality control practices are in place and standards for the quality of services are </li></ul> <p>met.</p> <ul> <li>Regularly visits all sites included in contractual obligations to audit and evaluate staff on </li></ul> <p>requirements and standards.</p> <ul> <li>Teaches/ trains and develops supervisors, leads, and team members on how to perform inspections in Otuvy (formerly </li></ul> <p>CleanTelligent) software system.</p> <ul> <li>Develops and trains team members to achieve higher levels of excellence in quality-of-service work, safety compliance, and asset protection. This may include additional certifications and the development of training curriculum and materials. </li><li>Maintains strong working relationships with customers across all buildings and with all team members. </li><li>Measures/validates the areas to be serviced for pricing and coordinates between the </li></ul> <p>customer, Project Manager, and Director of Contracts.</p> <ul> <li>Works with management and the custodial supervisors on scheduling spray buffing, deep </li></ul> <p>restroom cleaning, water removal, and other tasks that surface from contacts with</p> <p>customers.</p> <ul> <li>Maintains historical files of all project inspections, audit deficiencies, and corrective actions </li></ul> <p>actions.</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for communication and reporting any minor or significant deficiencies in quality of work performed, safety issues, equipment or noncompliance to the project manager as well as the director of contracts immediately. </li><li>Generates reports and maintains data for analysis and trend identification, which are used as a basis </li></ul> <p>for management action.</p> <ul> <li>Reads, interprets, and implements contract language. </li><li>Provides the Project Manager with recommendations for cleaning supplies and equipment </li></ul> <p>to improve efficiency.</p> <ul> <li>Submits the required completed documents to the government within the required timeframe </li></ul> <p>with accuracy.</p> <p>Education & Experience</p> <ul> <li>Requires a level of knowledge normally gained through completion of an undergraduate degree </li></ul> <p>degree.</p> <ul> <li>Three years of experience in preparing, implementing, and enforcing QMS programs on </li></ul> <p>contracts of similar size, scope, and complexity.</p> <ul> <li>OSHA 30 Hour Construction Safety Certification, Georgia Herbicide License (24- </li></ul> <p>Ornamental Turf Grass and 37-Microbial Pest Control)</p> <p>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Ability to set and maintain quality work standards. </li><li>Ability to get along with all team members in a professional manner </li><li>Experience working with disabled persons. </li><li>Ability to work with cleaning chemicals safely </li><li>Ability to physically tolerate general custodial tasks </li><li>Ability to carry out and follow instructions furnished in both written and oral form </li><li>Ability to prepare trend analysis, interpret results, and apply results to existing data </li></ul>
