<p>MN Urology is currently seeking a full time Clinical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse</p> <p>Position is located in our Plymouth, MN clinic</p> <p>Monday-Friday</p> <p>Regular Daytime Hours, No Evenings, No Weekends, No Holidays!</p> <p>Minnesota Urology is the largest independent urologic specialty practice in the state of Minnesota and was formed as an integration of Minnesota's two most respected independent urology practices; Minnesota Urology and Urology Associates. Our success and recognition as a national leader in the practice of urology is a direct result of the collective work of dedicated staff members and physicians.</p> <p>Primary Objective</p> <p>Responsible for providing basic care including assisting medical providers with all procedures and tests, may involve traveling to satellite facilities with providers, providing patient education and training, communicating effectively with patients and all members of the clinical services team including receiving, recording, and responding to patient calls, and assisting other staff in the clinic.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:</p> <ul> <li>Performs routine office procedures and testing in a safe and effective manner. </li><li>Effectively communicates via telephone and in-person in a courteous, prompt and polite manner. </li><li>Documents all information accurately in EMR. </li><li>Identifies patient education needs and provide information. </li><li>Communicates effectively and professionally with providers, clinic director, nurse manager, co-workers and patients. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Medical Assistant (MA, RMA, CMA, NCMA, CCMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) </li><li>Must be a graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program. </li><li>At least one year of previous clinical experience as an LPN or Medical Assistant strongly preferred. </li><li>CPR Certification preferred but may provide certification. </li></ul> <p>Minnesota Urology P.A. is an equal opportunity employer.</p>
