You will be partnering with senior business and product leadership to do wonderful things. Your work will focus on improving corporate performance, product performance and outcomes.</p> <p>But enough about us, let's talk about you.</p> <p>You are a Senior Engineer with extensive experience in designing, building and automation of web applications, preferably in public and private cloud environments with some experience building and using large-scale automated test infrastructure. You are an excellent communicator with the capability of quickly picking up the complicated healthcare space.</p> <p>You are a tenacious, but nimble learner, who demonstrates design & engineering excellence.</p> <p>The Team: Intelligent Automation (IA) is a service offered internally by athena through our Collector vertical.</p> <p>What we are</p> <ul> <li> <p>We are a 15-member team, based out of Chennai and Boston.</p> </li><li> <p>We process almost 1M RPA transactions per month.</p> </li><li> <p>We have more than 40 bots which work 24*7 to automate leveraging 100+ workers nodes.</p> </li><li> <p>Our codebase spans around more than 1600 bots which work tirelessly to achieve our automation targets.</p> </li></ul> <p>What can we achieve together with you</p> <ul> <li> <p>Build a platform in AWS to execute Java Selenium bots, with dynamic scaling of workers.</p> </li><li> <p>Build microservices to digest the insights of bot execution.</p> </li><li> <p>Build a Control Centre WebApp which will provide control and insights about the maintenance and execution of Java Selenium bots.</p> </li><li> <p>Optimize the bots' code (Java / Automation Anywhere) to support constant improvement to our code quality.</p> </li><li> <p>Enhance the platform components, alerting and monitoring systems for an optimized execution of bots</p> </li></ul> <p>Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Produce accurate, unambiguous technical design specifications to the appropriate detail</p> </li><li> <p>Deliver customer value in the form of high-quality software components and services focusing on Security, performance, longevity, and Integration testing</p> </li><li> <p>Proactively identify and proposes new, alternative technology to create scalable implementations and achieve results</p> </li><li> <p>Act as the subject matter expert for area of assignment</p> </li><li> <p>Advise and train members of the team to maximize overall productivity and effectiveness of the team</p> </li><li> <p>Work collaboratively across the Technology and Product organizations to ensure alignment towards business goals</p> </li></ul> <p>Typical Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>4 years of experience in an engineering role</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in an Agile environment preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with Java</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with Cloud (AWS preferred)</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of Unix/Linux, SQL</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of using Java Selenium for automation is a plus</p> </li><li> <p>Experience of building bots using Automation Anywhere is a plus</p> </li><li> <p>Experience of collaborating with offshore teams is a plus</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with AI is a plus</p> </li></ul> <p>About athenahealth</p> <p>Our vision: In an industry that becomes more complex by the day, we stand for simplicity.
