<p>The HR Staffing Specialist plays a key role in partnering with hiring managers to source, screen, and fill positions with qualified candidates. As part of the Human Resources team, the HR Staffing Specialist contributes to advancing the mission, vision, and values set by the CEO and Board of Directors by recruiting top talent for the organization. Additionally, the HR Staffing Specialist will assist in the daily administration and management of projects that align with the strategic goals of the Recruitment Team, HR department and CS-HHC.</p> <p>Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Ensure staffing requisitions for open positions are approved and posted according to CS-HHC policy. </li><li>Consults with hiring managers to obtain a clear understanding of the requirements of open positions, a description of the ideal candidate, potential recruitment resources, screening and interviewing processes, etc. </li><li>Prepares and places recruitment advertisements through CSHHC's careers site and other advertising mediums. </li><li>Reviews applications and resumes for education and experience requirements, conducts screening interviews, and verifies licensures and certifications before forwarding qualified candidates to the hiring manager. </li><li>Maintains clear and timely communication with candidates and hiring managers, keeping them informed of application status and credentialing updates. </li><li>Conducts background and reference checks and upon satisfactory completion, extends an offer of employment on behalf of the CEO. Negotiate salaries as directed. </li><li>Maintains the vacancy and position control reports, updating both on a daily/weekly basis and preparing reports as required. </li><li>Maintains applicant tracking system (ADP), analyzing success of recruitment efforts, and adjusting recruitment strategies accordingly </li><li>Coordinates recruitment events such as career fairs, speaking engagements, etc., and build and maintain relationships in the Community and at local colleges and workforce agencies </li><li>Performs all other duties as required </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Associate's degree in business or human resources related field required. Bachelor's Degree preferred. </li><li>Two (2) to five (5) years of recruitment experience preferred. Healthcare or behavioral healthcare related experience is desirable. Experience working with a widely diverse employee population is also preferred. </li><li>Working knowledge of CT Labor Law is desirable. </li><li>Excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential. </li><li>Computer skills are required and experience with HRIS systems is valuable. </li><li>Microsoft 365 Office Suite is a must to include PowerPoint. </li><li>Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing. </li></ul> <p>CS-HHC is an equal opportunity employer.
