<p>SUMMARY OVERVIEW</p> <p>The Aircraft Detailer Lead is responsible for leading and coordinating teams of detailers in the cleaning and maintenance of aircraft exteriors and interiors. This role requires the individual to train and supervise staff, ensuring that all detailing work is completed to high standards and in compliance with safety regulations. The Aircraft Detailer Lead must also manage supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and proper maintenance. Additionally, this position often involves quality inspection of completed work, providing feedback, and liaising with other airport and airline personnel to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Lead and oversee the aircraft detailing team </li><li>Coordinate and assign detailing tasks to team members </li><li>Train and mentor new and existing staff in advanced aircraft detailing techniques </li><li>Ensure adherence to all safety and quality standards during detailing processes </li><li>Monitor and manage the workflow to meet deadlines and airline schedules </li><li>Inspect aircraft after detailing to ensure compliance with company and airline standards </li><li>Provide expert guidance on the use of specialized cleaning products and equipment </li><li>Resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the detailing process </li><li>Maintain records of detailing work completed and report on team performance </li><li>Liaise with maintenance and operations teams for scheduling and access to aircraft </li><li>Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance detailing efficiency and effectiveness </li><li>Order and manage inventory of detailing supplies and equipment </li><li>Employing problem solving abilities for issue resolution </li><li>Maintain records of cleaning activities and schedules </li><li>Provide leadership and direction to the aircraft cleaning teams, fostering a positive work environment </li><li>Provide exceptional attention to detail to ensure all areas of the aircraft are impeccably cleaned </li><li>Ensure the team follows environmental guidelines for waste disposal and chemical use </li><li>Demonstrate leadership and provide guidance to the cleaning team </li><li>Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all cleaning activities </li><li>Document completed detailing tasks and report any issues or irregularities </li><li>Conduct regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and goals </li><li>Working under pressure to meet internal and external targets or deadlines </li><li>Coordinate with maintenance teams for any special cleaning needs </li><li>Conduct regular meetings with staff to discuss performance, objectives, and ongoing projects </li><li>Assist in training new staff in aircraft detailing procedures and standards </li><li>Prepare and deliver performance evaluations for team members </li><li>Vast experience in customer service </li><li>Possessing strong interpersonal skills for relationship building </li><li>Exemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards </li><li>Perform any additional duties as assigned by management </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>18 years of age or older </li><li>Eligible to work in the United States </li><li>Must have a valid state-issued driver's license with an acceptable driving record </li><li>Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking) </li><li>1 Year of aviation cleaning experience </li><li>Knowledge of the Aviation Industry </li><li>Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices </li><li>Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means </li><li>Pass a background check and drug screen </li><li>Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable) </li><li>Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays </li></ul> <p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential requirement satisfactorily.
