This company offers a hybrid work environment with new offices and great benefits.</p> <p>Summary: This person supports finance and accounting projects while partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and a strong internal control environment. The Project Staff Accountant maintains general ledger balances, prepares periodic financial reports, and ensures compliance with applicable accounting standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Project Staff Accountant will participate in finance and accounting-related projects </li><li>Maintain general ledger account balances and supporting documentation </li><li>Prepare accurate monthly financial reports and accounting summaries </li><li>Review accounting documents for accuracy and compliance with policies and accounting standards </li><li>Assess and document the impact of projects on internal controls </li><li>Assist with updating and implementing accounting reports and reconciliations resulting from projects </li><li>As a Project Staff Accountant, you will identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, procedures, and reporting efficiency </li><li>Stay current on available technologies and evaluate how they may enhance accounting and reporting processes </li><li>Apply appropriate accounting and reporting guidance to financial transactions related to assigned projects* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field </li><li>1-3 years of financial or general accounting experience </li></ul>
