<p>Job Title: Senior Interior Designer</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking a Senior Interior Designer with 8-10 years of professional experience to lead and contribute across all phases of the design process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong design leadership, client-facing experience, and the ability to guide design direction from concept through completion. This role also involves participation in graphics and marketing efforts, as well as mentoring and supporting junior staff.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Lead and contribute to all phases of the design process, from concept through completion. </li><li>Demonstrate strong design leadership and client-facing experience. </li><li>Guide design direction and mentor junior staff. </li><li>Participate in graphics and marketing efforts. </li><li>Ensure proficiency in Revit and BIM workflows. </li><li>Maintain a strong working knowledge of building codes and guidelines. </li><li>Execute preliminary design studies, contract documents, and field observations. </li><li>Specify furniture and interior products, prepare furniture bid packages, and oversee construction contract administration. </li><li>Perform cost estimating and calculations. </li><li>Utilize strong conceptual and computational design skills, including experience with Rhino and Grasshopper. </li><li>Proficiently use visualization tools such as Enscape and V-Ray, as well as Adobe InDesign and Photoshop. </li><li>Work on large complex projects in sports, arena, stadium, hospitality, or higher education facilities. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>8-10 years of interior design experience. </li><li>Proficiency in Revit, BIM workflows, and building codes. </li><li>Strong conceptual and computational design skills. </li><li>Experience with Rhino and Grasshopper. </li><li>Proficiency in Enscape, V-Ray, Adobe InDesign, and Photoshop. </li><li>Background in large complex projects (sports, arena, stadium, hospitality, or higher education). </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Interiors Architecture or related field. </li><li>NCIDQ certification highly preferred. </li><li>LEED GA within 6 months of hire. </li><li>Additional accreditations encouraged (LEED AP, WELL AP, SITES AP, Passive House, BREEAM AP, etc.). </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The team comprises 80 people based in the Denver office, with the Interior Design team consisting of 10 members. The studios include Healthcare, Science + Technology, Sports, Recreation + Entertainment, and Interior Design. The work environment supports a hybrid model with three days in the office and two days remote, which can be chosen by the employee. Half-day Fridays are available if hours are completed, and free lunch is provided on Thursdays.
