<p>The Milwaukee VA Medical Center is looking for a Nurse Residency Program Manager in their Nursing Education & Research Division.</p> <ul> <li>The Nurse Residency (NR) Program Manager is a registered professional nurse who provides leadership, oversight, and coordination for the Milwaukee VA Medical Center RN Residency Programs. </li><li>This role includes assessment, planning, design, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of the program, coordination of learning resources; continual monitoring of participant progress; monitoring of coach/ mentor performance; maintenance of RN Residency Programs records in support of CCNE accreditation of nurse residency programs; and collaboration with other stakeholders, disciplines, and departments internal and external to the medical center, as appropriate. </li><li>Possesses the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively apply all aspects of the Residency program within a collaborative, interdisciplinary practice setting. </li><li>Directs and supervises Post Baccalaureate Nurse Resident (PBNR) Clinical trainees in their delivery of quality nursing care to a veteran population of varying complexity in a variety of settings - primary care, acute care, sub-acute, rehabilitation, palliative and long-term care, inpatient, outpatient, and home care.
