Help shape the future you want to see - and discover that better can take you anywhere you want to go.</p> <p>Our John Hancock US segment Technology area is looking for a passionate and skilled Agile Coach to guide and mentor our US segment technology and agile teams in strengthening our Agile methodologies and practices. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Agile principles, excellent coaching skills, and a proven track record of coaching Teams.</p> <p>JOB DESCRIPTION</p> <p>People Leader Role: Yes</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Educate and engage stakeholders across the organization on Agile values and principles. </li><li>Develop and deliver training sessions and workshops to enhance Agile understanding and capabilities. </li><li>Serve as a mentor and coach for Agile teams, helping them to adopt and improve Agile practices. </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the adoption of Agile methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, and Lean. </li><li>Develop and educate organization on facilitation of Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, quarterly planning, program increments and reviews. </li><li>Identify and address any obstacles that may hinder the team's progress and work to remove them. </li><li>Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging teams to experiment and innovate. </li><li>Assesses team's Agile maturity and identifies strategies to improve team's performance. </li><li>Adapts Agile practices for each team member in order to ensure continuous improvement of performance. </li><li>Works with project teams to analyze current systems and processes and design a strategy for adopting leading Agile practices. </li><li>Leads Agile workshops for developer and functional teams, as well as for key stakeholders. </li><li>Promotes a culture of continuous improvement, setting goals and milestones and assigning responsibility. </li><li>Drives cultural change by championing an Agile mindset, and ensures the organization is adhering to industry leading practices. </li><li>Enables teams to self-manage and find their own solutions to problems through the application of Agile principles, values, and practices </li><li>Develop measures and report on the progress and effectiveness of agile delivery </li><li>Helping in defining standards and best practices with agile delivery tool usage such as JIRA, Confluence, and Portfolio related delivery tools to increase efficiency on agile practices. </li><li>Manage Scrum Leads for organization </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Proven experience as an Agile Coach, Scrum Master, or in a similar role. </li><li>Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks and methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Lean). </li><li>Relevant Agile certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, Certified Agile Coach) </li><li>Preferred certification- ICAgile Certified Professional in Agile Coaching (ICP-ACC), ICAgile Certified Professional in Agile Team Facilitation (ICP-ATF),Lean Kanban University (LKU) Kanban Management Professional (KMP),Certified Scrum Professional - ScrumMaster (CSP-SM), Agile Coaching Institute (ACI) Certified Enterprise Coach (CEC) </li><li>Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills. </li><li>Able to coach at various levels in the organization </li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of an organization. </li><li>Experience in managing and leading change in complex environments. </li><li>Skilled in Agile and portfolio tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Planview or related tools. </li><li>Experience managing teams </li><li>Broad experience across software development, software testing, business analysis, architecture, UX and operations </li><li>Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field is preferred. </li></ul> <p>When you join our team:</p> <ul> <li> <p>We'll empower you to learn and grow the career you want.</p> </li><li> <p>We'll recognize and support you in a flexible environment where well-being and inclusion are more than just words.</p> </li><li> <p>As part of our global team, we'll support you in shaping the future you want to see.</p> </li></ul> <p>At Manulife/John Hancock, we embrace our diversity. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
