The candidate should have over 5 years of sell side experience managing a US index option book, with a proven record of success. Candidates will have demonstrated leadership/management capabilities and be driven by the opportunity to build a business. Reporting to the Managing Director, Head of Flow Derivatives, this role provides the opportunity for a growth focused individual, to join an experienced team of derivative professionals and have key responsibility to shape a growing Index Options business.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Lead and expand the US Index Options business, maximizing client penetration and returns. </li><li>Manage a trading book, responsible for risk, P&L, and limits. </li><li>Stay informed on market trends to provide comprehensive client service and develop new solutions. </li><li>Recommend business priorities and develop strategic execution roadmaps. </li><li>Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, anticipating needs and providing strategic solutions. </li><li>Manage and mentor a growing team. </li><li>Execute cross-selling strategies to grow client share and increase revenue. </li><li>Collaborate with sales, trading and research teams across the platform for seamless client service. </li><li>Foster relationships across businesses and with senior leaders and clients to support coordination. </li><li>Manage risk related to pricing, sales, and trading, balancing the Bank's risk appetite with client needs. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>7+ years of relevant experience, with a degree in Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent education/experience; CFA preferred. </li><li>Expert knowledge of equity derivatives, derivative products, volatility surfaces, trading procedures, regulatory requirements, pricing, and hedging strategies. </li><li>Required licenses: Series 7, 63, and 55. Need for Series 4 and 24 in the near term. </li><li>Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. </li><li>Ability to manage ambiguity and make data-driven decisions. </li><li>Expertise in building and leveraging relationships for business growth. </li><li>Proven leadership capabilities and desire to manage and mentor others. </li></ul> <p>Base Salary</p> <p>Director - $275,000.00 USD</p> <p>Managing Director - $375,000.00 USD</p> <p>Salary:</p> <p>Pay Type:</p> <p>Salaried</p> <p>The above represents BMO Financial Group's pay range and type.</p> <p>Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure.
