<p>Retail Associate</p> <p>Bucks Bespokery is a fine stationery and gift store focused on creating a welcoming environment for our guests. A retail associate in our store will greet customers, assist customers with purchases, and process transactions in our POS system. Responsibilities also include maintaining store cleanliness and restocking merchandise. Strong communication skills, flexible hours, and reliability are key. An understanding of stationery and fountain pens is pertinent to this role so candidates with this background, or willingness to learn, will stand out.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Greet customers, answer questions, demonstrate products where applicable, provide product recommendations</p> </li><li> <p>Process sales, returns and exchanges</p> </li><li> <p>Restock shelves, organize displays, ensure sales floor and staff areas are clean, take out trash and break down boxes as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with inventory counts, receive & label inventory, open/close the store.</p> </li><li> <p>Learn about the products offered, features, brands and store policies</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience in the retail sales process</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of inventory management practices</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to perform in fast-paced environments</p> </li><li> <p>Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends</p> </li><li> <p>Track record of learning about new products</p> </li></ul> <p>Hours: Hours vary with seasonality and will be heaviest Fri-Sun</p>
