<p>Job Description:</p> <p>The Department of Economics at the University at Albany, SUNY, invites applications for a full-time, ten-month, non-tenure-track position at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor for the 2025-2026 academic year. The appointment is for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to mutual agreement, availability of funds, continued need, and satisfactory performance.</p> <p>The successful candidate will be expected to teach three courses per semester, in addition to contributing to departmental service. Teaching responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, large sections of Principles of Macroeconomics and Principles of Microeconomics.</p> <p>A Ph.D. in Economics or a closely related field must be completed by the start date of the appointment. Candidates should provide clear evidence of effective teaching in relevant subject areas.</p> <p>Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States at the time the appointment begins and for the duration of the appointment.
