Then check out the Helpdesk Support Technician position in the department of Information Technology Services at The Citadel College.</p> <p>This role will:</p> <ul> <li>Work as a member of The Citadel's Information Technology Services team to provide technical IT phone and remote support to the College's Faculty, Staff, and Students. </li><li>Responsible for performing daily tasks through The Citadel's IT ticket system </li><li>Remotely discovering and resolving IT software issues: including virus removal, software installation, account assistance, and computer diagnostics and trouble-shooting. </li><li>Responsible for the development of The Citadel's IT Knowledge Base. </li><li>Record processes to relay standard information to entire ITS staff. </li><li>Recognize and identify trend issues in The Citadel's community and participate in the resolution of such issues. </li></ul> <p>Minimum and Additional Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Associate's degree </li><li>One-year technical experience in computer system design, development, maintenance, and management OR an equivalent combination of training and experience </li><li>Windows operating systems technical skills required. </li><li>Excellent customer service skills; strong commitment to customer service. </li><li>Excellent writing and verbal communication skills. </li><li>Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <p>CompTIA A+ Certification</p>
