<p>Part-time Instructor, Knitting and Crocheting (Level 1) JobID: 878</p> <p>Position Type:</p> <p>Part-time Instruction</p> <p>Date Posted:</p> <p>2/10/2026</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>Lemley Memorial Campus</p> <p>Additional Information: Show/Hide</p> <p>Job Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with crocheting and knitting is required. </li><li>Previous experience teaching adults is preferred. </li><li>Familiarity with crocheting & knitting as both a hobby and a craft for sale. </li><li>Provide instruction in a classroom setting to adult students on crocheting & knitting techniques. </li><li>Available to teach one evening per week for 3 weeks at a Tulsa Tech campus location. </li></ul> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrate extensive knowledge of and experience in the appropriate subject matter. </li><li>Instruct students in competency-based program curriculum using current instructional strategies appropriate to the subject matter to assure highest quality classroom instruction. </li><li>Effectively manage the classroom to create an optimal learning environment. </li><li>Maintain up-to-date records of student attendance, academic progress and grades as required by district policy and certification/regulatory agencies. </li><li>Ensure syllabus, supply list and lesson plans are current prior to each class taught. </li><li>Demonstrate effective people skills, communication skills and professionalism (i.e. prepared, reliable, responsible, punctual, etc.) </li><li>Demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to the mission and goals of Tulsa Tech's ACD program. </li><li>Participate in professional development opportunities as required by the ACD department. </li><li>Perform all other duties as may be assigned by management from time to time. </li></ul> <p>Education:</p> <p>HS diploma or equivalent</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Evening</p> <p>Salary Schedule:</p> <p>Standard rate schedule for non-regular (temporary, adjunct, substitute) and regular part-time employees</p> <p>Hiring Range:</p> <p>$30 per hour</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <p>N/A</p> <p>Closing Date:</p> <p>For maximum consideration, receipt of application material is February 18.
