<p>Position Information</p> <p>Position Number 005147 Position Title Coordinator, University Surveys - 005147 Division Academic Affairs Department 380100 - Institutional Effectiveness Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>Bachelor's degree in education, social science, economics, statistics or a related field from an accredited institution as approved and accepted by the University of South Alabama and two years of directly related professional experience. Knowledge of SPSS and Microsoft Word and Excel required. Master's degree preferred and will substitute for one year of required experience.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications Job Description Summary</p> <p>The University of South Alabama's Office of Institutional Effectiveness is seeking to hire a Coordinator, University Surveys. Interested candidates should apply to be considered.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <p>These are the job duties required of the position.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Organizes and implements University student teaching evaluations to include management of multiple large and complex data sets used to launch student teaching evaluations with accuracy and in a timely manner using institutional software. </li><li>With collaboration and input from the University community, develops and implements institutional surveys to assess student experiences from their first year through post-graduation and provides useful information for decision-making. </li><li>Performs quantitative and qualitative analysis of University survey data with special attention to improving the integration and use of data from separate University data collections and software systems. </li><li>Ensures appropriate dissemination of data and reports to the University community. </li><li>Supports University assessment in the analysis and use of assessment information. </li><li>Supports faculty in the use of the University's system to collect and disseminate results of University student teaching evaluations. </li><li>Supports campus users in the development of surveys and the use of University survey systems. </li><li>Supports the University community in identifying, clarifying, and prioritizing the data and information needed for efficiency, continuous improvement, and decision-making. </li><li>Oversees implementation of the University's survey policy. </li><li>Regular and prompt attendance. </li><li>Ability to work schedule as defined and additional hours as required. </li><li>Related duties as required. </li></ul> <p>Posting Information</p> <p>Number of Vacancies 1 Position End Date (if temporary) Job Open Date 03/12/2025 Job Close Date Open Until Filled Yes Special Instructions to Applicants Working Days Monday - Friday Working Hours 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Job Location Main Campus Full-time or Part-Time Full Time Regular or Temporary Regular</p>
