In addition, the mammography technologist will perform mammographic imaging and assume QA/QC responsibilities. The mammography technologist must be self-motivated, use independent judgement and be able to work with minimum supervision. The mammography Technologist must be uniquely empathetic to high stress situations.</p> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Completion of a JCERT accredited Radiologic Technologist program</p> </li><li> <p>Registered Radiographer by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)</p> </li><li> <p>Registered Mammography Technologist by ARRT or registry-eligible and must achieve Mammography-certification within six months of hire</p> </li><li> <p>Sterio tactic breast biopsy experience preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain Continuing Education credits (24 CEC in two year period) and other ARRT requirements</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain 15 Continuing Education credits (CEC) in Mammography within a 3-year period.</p> </li><li> <p>Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification as required by the hospital</p> </li></ul> <p>Click Here to learn more about the benefits, culture, and career development opportunities available to you at Trinity Health Michigan</p> <p>Our Commitment</p> <p>Rooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
