Provides full supervisory oversight of Building Attendants who serve as front-line staff supporting daily operations and special events. Serves as the primary liaison between renters, vendors, public safety agencies, and internal City departments. Exercises independent judgment in operational decision-making, staffing, financial administration, and public safety coordination to ensure events are delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with City policies and service standards.</p> <p>Deadline to Apply</p> <p>May 10, 2026 at 11:59 pm</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>RecPlex Events Supervisor</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in event management, recreation, hospitality, business administration, or related field </li><li>Three (3) years of related work experience in a municipal, recreational, athletic or hospitality facility, including at least one (1) year of supervising staff </li><li>Specific experience in event logistics, crowd management, and public safety coordination </li><li>IPACT Alcohol Training Certification within 30 days of employment </li><li>First Aid, CPR, AED Certification within 60 days of employment </li><li>Possession of valid Iowa Driver's License or evidence of equivalent mobility </li></ul>
