The successful candidate will benefit from SLHS's thriving and dynamic ties with other offerings on the Boulder campus such as the Institute of Cognitive Science, the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience, the Intermountain Neuroimaging Consortium, the Institute of Behavioral Genetics, the Department of Linguistics, and offerings on the Anschutz campus of the University of Colorado at Anschutz Medical Center.</p> <p>What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be</p> <ul> <li>Serve as a liaison to a set of participating early intervention programs </li><li>Complete intake process as assessments are received </li><li>Review completed assessments and forms contacting early interventionists for follow-up information as necessary </li><li>Score developmental assessments </li><li>Write clinical reports describing a child's assessment results </li><li>Assist director in training and supervising student employees </li><li>Complete miscellaneous clerical tasks including copying, scanning, ordering supplies, etc. </li></ul> <p>What You Should Know</p> <ul> <li>Anticipated start date is June 1, 2026. </li></ul> <p>What We Can Offer</p> <p>The hiring rate for this position is $25/hour.</p> <p>Benefits</p> <p>Temporary positions at the University of Colorado are not benefits-eligible, however, all positions are eligible for paid sick leave.</p> <p>Be Statements</p> <p>Be ambitious. Be Boulder.</p> <p>What We Require</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences or Linguistics </li><li>Minimum of 3 years' experience in a research lab studying developmental outcomes in young children who are deaf or hard of hearing </li><li>Minimum of 3 years' experience using REDCap and SPSS to manage data </li><li>Excellent attention to detail </li><li>Good organizational skills </li></ul> <p>What You Will Need</p> <ul> <li>Computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Google Drive) </li><li>Organization </li><li>Detail oriented </li><li>Professional </li><li>Problem solver </li><li>Knowledge of professional and technical vocabulary related to deafness </li></ul> <p>What We Would Like You to Have</p> <ul> <li>Three or more semesters of college-level American Sign Language (ASL) </li><li>Conversational competence in Spanish </li></ul> <p>Special Instructions</p> <p>To apply, please submit the following materials as PDFs:</p> <ul> <li>Resume/CV </li><li>Optional: Cover Letter </li></ul> <p>During the application process you will need to enter contact information for a reference who can write a letter of recommendation on your behalf.
