<p>Job Title: Mechanical Engineer</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>As a Mechanical Engineer, you will perform and lead the design of mechanical and plumbing/piping systems, including selecting equipment, sizing, specifying, and establishing sequences of operation. You will ensure technical accuracy through load calculations and code compliance reviews, lead design peer reviews, and collaborate with Operations on scope definition, cost control, and constructability. Your role will involve developing engineering estimates, scopes of work, and schematic budgets, overseeing the internal commissioning process, and creating or supervising design sketches, models, calculations, and document packages. The engineering team consists of 10 people, with 6 mechanical and 4 electrical engineers. You will be the second most experienced in the department. Travel is minimal, with possibly one trip per year to a project in a surrounding state.
