<p>Kforce has a client seeking an Accounting Manager in Wilton, CT.</p> <p>Day to Day Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Manage a team of 2-3 staff </li><li>Lead month-end and year-end close process, ensuring timely reconciliations of all accounts, (balance sheet, income statement, multiple banks, etc.) </li><li>Hands on - "Lead by Example" complex account reconciliations, including cash, payroll accruals, and other treasury-related accounts </li><li>Manage external audits with the CPA firm </li><li>Manage & resolve discrepancies in financial records, ensuring data integrity and accuracy </li><li>Assist with an ERP data conversion and "go live" process </li><li>Support process controls and efficiency initiatives </li><li>Work with internal teams to ensure financial controls and compliance </li><li>Assist with audit preparation and provide support to external auditors </li><li>Supervise Staff (2-3)* Bachelor's degree in Accounting </li><li>6+ years of accounting experience with current staff supervision exposure </li><li>SALT Tax and Sales & Use tax exposure </li><li>Multi-entity reconciliation experience </li><li>ERP software experience and Advanced Excel skills </li></ul>
