This position ensures a safe, organized, and efficient environment for clients, exhibitors, vendors, and staff. Dock Staff coordinate closely with Event Managers and Public Safety personnel to maintain operational control, safety compliance, and facility protection.</p> <p>This role pays an hourly rate of $15.00</p> <p>Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching</p> <p>This position will remain open until June 5, 2026.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Monitor dock activity during event move-in, show times, and move-out. </li><li>Follow event-specific instructions provided by Event Managers. </li><li>Direct operational questions or concerns to an Event Manager or Public Safety representative. </li><li>Ensure all individuals entering the dock area have a valid dock pass. </li><li>Place an oil pan underneath the vehicle. </li><li>Ensure only authorized vehicles park in the dock area. </li><li>Direct drivers to appropriate parking areas. </li><li>Attempt to identify drivers and associate them with their vehicles. </li><li>Assist with staging and parking emergency vehicles when necessary. </li><li>Maintain a safe and controlled loading dock environment at all times. </li><li>Keep all fire lanes clear. </li><li>Remain alert and aware of surroundings at all times. </li><li>Ensure dock entryways are secure before leaving post. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Ability to remain calm and professional in high-traffic, high-pressure environments. </li><li>Strong situational awareness and attention to detail. </li><li>Ability to enforce policies consistently and professionally. </li><li>Ability to stand and remain outdoors for extended periods. </li><li>Ability to follow direction and chain of command. </li><li>Prior event operations, security, or facilities experience preferred but not required. </li></ul> <p>Strengthened by our Differences.
