This position requires a strong payroll processing and taxation background, analytical skills, a technical (systems) background, and a mature communications style. The ability to organize, influence others, solve problems, and work with minimal supervision is expected of the incumbent, who needs to balance both production tasks and employee interactions or queries.</p> <p>Essential Functions: -Processes all federal, state, and local taxes in Workday, including setting up new employees' federal, state, and local taxes.</p> <ul> <li>Reviews address changes and coordinate with employees in order to be tax compliant. Corrects taxes both in Workday and ADP as needed. </li><li>Manages and maintains ADP including setting up of jurisdictions. Reconciling tax payments and exemptions through ADP. </li><li>Administrator on ADP Smart Compliance and yearend balancing and reporting through ADP, working with ADP to produce W2s. </li><li>Balances Workday tax reports to ADP reports for federal and state agencies. Runs and reviews ADP integrations regarding periodic, monthly, quarterly and yearly submissions. </li><li>Works with the Workday Team to test new releases and set up for new state-regulated changes, including but not limited to family leave, disability, and unemployment laws. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Education</p> <p>Bachelor's Degree Accounting required or Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required, experience can be accepted in lieu of a degree?</p> <p>Experience</p> <p>Payroll experience 3-5 years required</p> <p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to research issues and process complex transactions and procedures. </li><li>Excellent oral & written communication skills, along with confidence and experience in presenting to small groups. </li><li>Ability to work independently and manage competing and conflicting demands on time. </li><li>Strong Microsoft Office and Outlook skills with advanced knowledge of Excel. </li><li>Must possess the ability to thrive in a busy, high-volume, and deadline-driven team environment that requires the coordination of multiple activities and judgment and flexibility to reprioritize tasks as needed. </li><li>Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and handle complex and confidential information with discretion. </li></ul> <p>Additional Job Details (if applicable)</p> <p>Remote Type</p> <p>Remote</p> <p>Work Location</p> <p>399 Revolution Drive</p> <p>Scheduled Weekly Hours</p> <p>40</p> <p>Employee Type</p> <p>Regular</p> <p>Work Shift</p> <p>Day (United States of America)</p> <p>EEO Statement:</p> <p>Mass General Brigham Incorporated is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
