<p>SUMMARY:</p> <p>The Senior Director, Health Information Management, Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI), Hospital</p> <p>Coding & Hospital Accounts Receivable provides strategic and operational leadership for Health</p> <p>Information Management (HIM), hospital coding, medical records, and hospital accounts receivable</p> <p>functions across the organization. The core Success Factors include:</p> <p>Instill Trust and Value Differences</p> <p>Patient and Community Focus and Collaborate</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>Enterprise Leadership & Strategy</p> <p>Provide executive leadership for HIM, hospital coding, CDI, medical records, and hospital</p> <p>AR functions</p> <ul> <li>Develop and implement integrated strategies aligning documentation integrity, coding </li></ul> <p>accuracy, billing readiness, and AR performance</p> <ul> <li>Establish governance, policies, and standards to ensure regulatory compliance and </li></ul> <p>operational consistency</p> <ul> <li>Health Information Management (HIM) & Medical Records </li></ul> <p>Oversee HIM operations including record completion, deficiency management, release of</p> <p>information (ROI), record retention, and data governance</p> <ul> <li>Ensure integrity, privacy, and security of the medical record in compliance with HIPAA and </li></ul> <p>regulatory requirements</p> <ul> <li>• Partner with IT and clinical teams to optimize Epic documentation workflows and data quality </li></ul> <p>Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI)</p> <p>Lead enterprise CDI programs to ensure complete, accurate, and compliant provider</p> <p>documentation</p> <ul> <li>Partner with physician and clinical leadership to improve documentation practices and </li></ul> <p>engagement</p> <ul> <li>Monitor CDI performance metrics including CC/MCC capture, SOI, ROM, and case mix </li></ul> <p>index (CMI)</p> <ul> <li>Hospital Coding Operations </li><li>Oversee inpatient and outpatient hospital coding operations across all facilities </li></ul> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Job Profile: Senior Dir Enterprise Hospital</p> <p>Revenue Cycle (CDI Coding Val, HIM, AR)</p> <p>09:21 AM</p> <p>02/06/2026</p> <p>Page 2 of 3</p> <p>Ensure compliance with ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, HCPCS, MS-DRG/APR-DRG, and payerspecific</p> <p>requirements</p> <ul> <li>• Direct coding audits, quality assurance, education, and corrective action plans </li><li>Collaborate with CDI, HIM, and AR teams to reduce rework, delays, and denials </li></ul> <p>Hospital Accounts Receivable</p> <p>Provide executive oversight of hospital AR performance, including billing readiness, followup,</p> <p>and aging reduction</p> <ul> <li>Partner with Revenue Cycle and Finance leadership to improve cash flow and reduce days </li></ul> <p>in AR</p> <ul> <li>Identify documentation and coding-related drivers of AR delays, denials, and </li></ul> <p>underpayments</p> <ul> <li>• Support denial prevention and resolution efforts related to hospital claims </li></ul> <p>Epic HB Optimization</p> <ul> <li>Serve as executive owner for Epic HB documentation, coding, and billing workflows </li><li>Partner with IT and Epic teams on optimization, upgrades, governance, and issue resolution </li></ul> <p>Ensure Epic configurations support compliant documentation, accurate coding, and efficient</p> <p>billing</p> <ul> <li>Compliance, Audits & Risk Management </li></ul> <p>Ensure compliance with federal, state, and payer-specific documentation and coding</p> <p>regulations</p> <ul> <li>• Partner with Compliance and Legal teams on audits, appeals, and regulatory inquiries </li><li>Implement controls to mitigate compliance risk and revenue leakage </li></ul> <p>Analytics & Reporting</p> <p>Establish KPIs and dashboards related to documentation quality, coding accuracy, AR</p> <p>aging, and compliance</p> <ul> <li>• Analyze trends and performance data to drive improvement initiatives </li><li>Present performance results, risks, and recommendations to executive leadership </li></ul> <p>People Leadership</p> <p>Lead, mentor, and develop directors, managers, and multidisciplinary teams across HIM,</p> <p>CDI, Coding, and Hospital AR</p> <ul> <li>Establish performance expectations, productivity standards, and continuous improvement </li></ul> <p>frameworks</p> <ul> <li>• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and regulatory excellence </li></ul> <p>Performance Standards</p> <ul> <li>Effective utilization of resources </li><li>Management of continuous quality improvement </li><li>High quality, high value patient-focused services </li><li>Resource productivity and fiscal responsibility </li><li>Development and implementation of effective quality programs </li><li>Customer satisfaction and positive feedback from peers, direct reports, and staff </li><li>Year-over-year performance improvement </li></ul> <p>Qualifications / Education</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in business, Health Information Management, Finance, </li></ul> <p>Job Profile: Senior Dir Enterprise Hospital</p> <p>Revenue Cycle (CDI Coding Val, HIM, AR)</p> <p>09:21 AM</p> <p>02/06/2026</p> <p>Page 3 of 3</p> <p>Healthcare Administration, or related field;
