Coaches will run age-appropriate soccer drills, small-sided games, and skill-building exercises for players ranging from beginner to advanced levels, typically aged 7-17.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Plan and lead engaging soccer drills, training sessions, and games tailored to players' age and skill levels. </li><li>Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all participants. </li><li>Teach fundamental and advanced soccer techniques, tactics, and sportsmanship. </li><li>Monitor player progress and provide constructive feedback and encouragement. </li><li>Supervise players during training sessions and breaks to ensure safety and discipline. </li><li>Communicate effectively with parents, camp staff, and other coaches. </li><li>Set up and take down equipment before and after sessions. </li><li>Serve as a role model by demonstrating professionalism, enthusiasm, and integrity at all times. </li><li>Previous experience coaching youth soccer or playing at a competitive level (preferred). </li><li>Strong knowledge of soccer fundamentals, tactics, and player development. </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Ability to lead groups with energy, enthusiasm, and positivity. </li><li>CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). </li><li>Must pass a background check and any required child safety certifications. </li><li>Availability during camp/clinic dates, including weekends if applicable. </li></ul> <p>Preferred (but not required):</p> <ul> <li>Coaching certifications (e.g., USSF Grassroots, D-License, NSCAA courses, etc.). </li><li>Experience working in a camp or educational setting. </li><li>Bilingual skills. </li></ul>
