<p>Job Responsibilities</p> <p>https://youtu.be/87yUiXaW3oA</p> <ul> <li> <p>Assists supervisor in performing skilled tasks to maintain automotive equipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs extensive automotive and diesel repairs and maintenance on all Academy vehicles.</p> </li><li> <p>Works with Academy instructional staff scheduling all driving programs using CJA vehicles.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with maintaining inventories of vehicle parts, accessories, tools, and shop equipment. Ensures adequate supplies through purchase or cannibalization of wrecked/unusable vehicles.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs shop maintenance and upkeep as required.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinates with Academy staff for bus transportation for students to and from the range.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other duties as required. Uniforms, tools, and equipment will be provided.</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum and Additional Requirements</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED </li><li>Completion of specialized coursework in automotive, diesel, or body repair </li><li>At least four (4) years of experience independently performing duties related to the maintenance and repair of automotive equipment </li><li>Must possess and maintain a valid South Carolina driver's license </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>Possess a CDL (activity bus/school bus) or the ability to obtain one within twelve (12) months of hire.</p> <p>Additional Comments</p> <p>About You:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of principles and practices used to diagnose vehicles using computerized test equipment </li><li>Skill in the use of testing and measuring instruments </li><li>Ability to interpret technical service manuals </li><li>Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds </li><li>Ability to push, pull, squat, kneel, sit, stand, walk, and drive </li><li>Ability to work under general supervision </li><li>Ability to attend evening training classes, as necessary </li></ul> <p>About the Academy:</p> <ul> <li>The S.C.
