Training is provided, so develop your skills here.</p> <p>Pay: $26 - $32 per hour | Full-Time Hours</p> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent </li><li>4 years of experience and/or training, including the application of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry skills/concepts required </li><li>A valid driver's, forklift, and JLG operator's license </li><li>Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or graphic form </li><li>Excellent communication skills </li></ul> <p>Maintenance Technician Job Description</p> <ul> <li> <p>Ensure workplace safety: Follow all safety guidelines, including OSHA compliance, lock-out/tag-out, and safety inspections.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform routine inspections: Conduct regular facility rounds to monitor systems, identify issues, and document equipment performance.</p> </li><li> <p>Equipment maintenance & repair: Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide range of building equipment, including:</p> </li><li> <p>HVAC systems, fire life safety equipment, plumbing, and electrical systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Transformers, motors, motor starters, MCC panels, circuits, and variable frequency drives (VFDs).</p> </li><li> <p>Dock equipment (overhead doors, dock levelers, locks, and seals).</p> </li><li> <p>Building and parking lot lighting, emergency and exit lights, photoelectric eyes, and 120-volt exterior outlets.</p> </li><li> <p>Preventative maintenance: Diagnose and repair malfunctioning systems, replace belts, hoses, fluids, and filters, and ensure all equipment operates at optimal efficiency.</p> </li><li> <p>General facility repairs: Rebuild pumps, steam traps, valves, and solenoid devices. Perform plumbing repairs (fix leaks, replace sinks, drains, valves), paint walls, and maintain lighting and electrical distribution systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Administrative tasks: Manage parts ordering, purchase order creation, vendor coordination, and maintenance scheduling.</p> </li><li> <p>Communication & collaboration: Work closely with team members and customer staff to ensure work requests are fully understood and provide status updates and completion timelines.</p> </li><li> <p>CMMS management: Document all maintenance activities in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), analyze results, and recommend updates to preventative maintenance (PM) lists.</p> </li><li> <p>Project management: Oversee complex maintenance projects, equipment repairs, and coordinate subcontractors as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Additional duties: Perform other tasks assigned by the Site Manager to ensure smooth facility operations.</p> </li></ul> <p>Employee Benefits (offered by our client):</p> <p>Our client offers a range of competitive benefits to keep their team happy, healthy, and invested.
