<p>Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>Provide quality speech therapy evaluation, treatment and documentation for all Medical Home Care clients. Function as an effective interdisciplinary team member and demonstrate excellent customer relations.</p> <p>Reports To: Director of Medical Home Care</p> <p>Hours Per Week: Part Time 24 hours per week</p> <ul> <li>Competitive Salary, Flexible Schedule, 401k Plan, Mileage Reimbursement * </li></ul> <p>Essential Responsibilities:</p> <ol> <li> <p>To Provide speech therapy services in a professional manner in accordance with approved methods of practice.</p> </li><li> <p>Evaluation, assessment and treatment related to dysfunction as a result of injury, surgery or acute/chronic disease.</p> </li><li> <p>Instruct other healthcare professionals/family members on strategies and specific procedures to assist patients in achieving maximal function and safety of the clients.</p> </li><li> <p>Exhibit timely, efficient, satisfactory completion of assignments and documentation with minimal or no assistance.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain a high level of flexibility in scheduling to accommodate departmental needs.</p> </li><li> <p>Accurately record daily billable treatment times according to the Medical Home Care department procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Other related duties as assigned.</p> </li></ol> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>Education: Master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited university or college</p> <p>Experience: 1 year experience in a long term or acute care setting</p> <p>Licensure: CT license; certified by the national board of certification in Speech Therapy; valid driver's license</p> <p>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:</p> <p>The Speech-Language Pathologist executes policies and procedures of Mozaic Senior Life's Medical Home Care Department and maintains up to date knowledge of practices and skills in the profession of Speech-language Pathology. Understands and implements instructions for equipment and procedures prescribed for Speech Therapy.
