<p>Kforce is seeking a remote Watsonx.gov Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-grade Generative AI solutions for our clients. This role will focus on leveraging Watsonx, including watsonx.ai, watsonx.data, and watsonx.governance, to architect secure, scalable, and compliant AI solutions that align with industry and regulatory standards. As a client-facing leader, you will partner with business executives, technology stakeholders, and delivery teams to define strategy, establish governance, and build production-ready AI systems that deliver measurable business value.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Lead the architecture of end-to-end AI/GenAI solutions using Watsonx and related technologies </li><li>Develop scalable designs that incorporate RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), data pipelines, governance, and model lifecycle management </li><li>Integrate AI solutions into enterprise ecosystems (cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments) </li><li>Implement Watsonx.governance frameworks to ensure responsible AI adoption, covering fairness, transparency, explainability, and regulatory alignment </li><li>Define policies for data privacy, model monitoring, auditability, and bias mitigation </li><li>Serve as a trusted advisor to client executives and technology leaders, translating business requirements into technical AI solutions </li><li>Conduct workshops, proofs of concept, and design sessions to showcase platform capabilities </li><li>Provide thought leadership on the evolving AI/GenAI landscape </li><li>Work closely with delivery teams to ensure solutions are implemented as designed </li><li>Mentor solution engineers, data scientists, and developers on best practices for AI solution delivery </li><li>Develop reference architectures, accelerators, and reusable assets for repeatable client success* 8+ years of experience in enterprise architecture or solution architecture, with at least 2+ years in AI/ML/GenAI </li><li>Strong knowledge of LLMs, RAG, MLOps, and model deployment strategies </li><li>Hands-on experience with Watsonx.ai, Watsonx.data, and Watsonx.governance or equivalent AI/GenAI platforms </li><li>Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data ecosystems (SQL/NoSQL, data lakes, APIs) </li><li>Experience implementing AI governance frameworks (bias, drift detection, transparency, model lineage) </li><li>Knowledge of compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA, FedRAMP, NIST, or industry-specific requirements) </li><li>Proven success in leading client-facing architecture engagements </li><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders </li><li>Ability to balance innovation with pragmatic enterprise design </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Certifications in AI/ML, Cloud Architecture, or Watsonx technologies </li><li>Experience with governance tools such as OpenPages or similar </li><li>Background in consulting or advisory roles within regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, government) </li></ul>
