<p>Description & Requirements</p> <p>https://skillbridge.osd.mil/</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Install and maintain complex networks that typically link several computing platforms, operation systems and network topologies across widely dispersed geographic areas. </li><li>Evaluate hardware and software suitable for large complex networks. </li><li>Install, maintain and upgrade network interface programs. </li><li>Monitor and maintain security procedures. </li><li>Manage network performance. </li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems to ensure no disruption of mission-critical applications. </li><li>Maintain fault-tolerant systems and manages system backups. </li><li>Recommend changes in methods or procedures, where necessary. </li></ul> <p>As an intern Network Engineer at the Battle Lab, you will support the integration of design, deployment, and maintenance of advanced network environments used for testing and experimentation. Working with senior engineers, you'll help configure network devices, troubleshoot issues, monitor performance, and ensure reliable, secure connectivity across lab systems.</p> <p>You will coordinate and assist with routing and switching tasks, network security activities, vulnerability scanning with tools like Qualys, and documentation of network designs and FedRAMP aligned boundaries.
