<p>Position Summary</p> <p>This position is responsible for researching, developing, and administering a wide range of examinations and other education and examination-related projects as needed in accordance with professional standards and federal guidelines. This position acts as liaison to examining boards and to the public in examination and education-related activities. The Office of Education and Examinations (OEE) is responsible for providing, through test development or vendor contract, validation and administration of examinations for all credentialed professions attached to the Department of Safety and Professional Services.</p> <p>Salary Information</p> <p>This position is in schedule-range (07-04) with an hourly rate of $20.65 - $24.00, per hour.</p> <p>Job Details</p> <p>Prior to any appointments for position(s) filled from this announcement, candidates may be subject to a comprehensive criminal background check.</p> <p>This state agency does not sponsor work visas. Any appointment made will be contingent on the applicant being able to prove valid status to work in the United States.</p> <p>This is a Limited Term Employment (LTE) position and limited to 1,039 hours in 26 consecutive pay periods (1 year).</p> <p>Wisconsin residency is required for Limited Term Employment positions.</p> <p>Limited Term Employment (LTE) positions are not civil service classified positions, do not give any rights to permanent civil service classified positions and do not lead to permanent status.</p> <p>Certain positions within this Department may allow remote/work from home flexibility for a portion of their work schedule, depending on the needs of the position and the work unit. This topic and any remote work flexibility that may be available will be discussed in more detail in the interview process. For permanent positions that allow remote work flexibility, it is not anticipated that working outside of Wisconsin (or bordering cities) will be allowed because positions may need to report to office locations in Wisconsin on short notice.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>A minimally qualified applicant must have experience with all the below:</p> <ul> <li>Experience managing multiple tasks with varying due dates for deliverables. </li><li>Experience responding to internal and external customers with questions, problems, or concerns. </li><li>Experience working with current computer technologies (e.g. database, spreadsheet, word processing, Salesforce platform software, etc.) </li></ul> <p>In addition to the above qualifications, well-qualified applicants will also have experience with at least one of the following:</p> <ul> <li>Training or experience developing surveys, examinations, or other related projects (e.g. test development, validation procedures, survey sample design, measurement theory, etc.) </li><li>Training or experience working with Wisconsin State Statutes OR federal/state law relating to examinations and licensure. </li><li>Training or experience in conducting analytical research. </li></ul> <p>How To Apply</p> <p>Apply online!
