<p>Mechanical Design Engineer</p> <p>We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a highly collaborative team focused on designing and building customized industrial systems. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, hands-on projects from concept through startup, partnering closely with engineering, fabrication, and controls teams.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Develop 3D designs and detailed drawings using AutoCAD and Revit</p> </li><li> <p>Create submittal packages, including process and general arrangement (GA) drawings</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in cross-functional design reviews and project meetings</p> </li><li> <p>Support proposal development, including preliminary costing</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with manufacturing efforts, including weldment QC and system testing</p> </li><li> <p>Contribute to controls-related tasks and system integration efforts</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience with AutoCAD (3D) and/or Revit required</p> </li><li> <p>Strong understanding of mechanical systems and fabrication processes</p> </li><li> <p>Hands-on mindset with interest in both design and field implementation</p> </li><li> <p>Travel: <20% (primarily for system startups)</p> </li><li> <p>Exposure to full project lifecycle-from design through fabrication and commissioning</p> </li></ul> <p>Salary Range: $80,000-$95,000</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Health, dental, and vision, life, short/long term disability insurance</p> </li><li> <p>401(k) offering</p> </li><li> <p>Paid time off and holidays (80 hours PTO)</p> </li><li> <p>Paid sick leave where applicable by state law.</p> </li></ul> <p>LHH is a leader in permanent recruitment-and in the placement of top talent.
